PERCY KAY - Phehla (1987)

Reamusic/EMI, RML(O)2006
Producers: Enoch Nondala
Engineer: Graham Handley
Recorded at: Sweet Sixteen Studios, Jhb

Fun, escapist disco-soul from Mr Kay, on the follow-up to the 1986 EP Come Down. It's full of slick synths, soulful grooves and powerful vocals on tracks like "Umshoza Ngowami" (she's mine), with stinging guitar riffs on the title track.
